What do we do?

Investing Together

Engage with other students in the stock market and discover how they view the market. Analyse companies from top to bottom and pitch interesting investment opportunities for our joint portfolio. This way, you not only expand your knowledge but also learn to critically assess investment opportunities.

Public Events

LSB regularly organises events that are accessible to anyone interested in investing and finance. Discover interesting themes, listen to inspiring speakers, and meet other students with the same interests. This way, you can get to know LSB and our community without any obligation.

FAQ

Iedere student die studeert aan een hogeschool of universiteit kan lid worden van LSB. We verwelkomen studenten van verschillende hogescholen en universiteiten, ongeacht hun studierichting of achtergrond.

Je kan lid worden door je in te schrijven via onze website. Indien je vragen hebt, mag je altijd contact opnemen met het bestuur via onze website, sociale media of e-mail. Vervolgens ontvang je meer informatie over de procedure en de voorwaarden voor lidmaatschap.

LSB meets bi-weekly, both online and in person. During these meetings, the portfolio, current economic developments, and potential new investment opportunities are discussed and thoroughly analysed.

You can only become a member at certain times, usually at the start of the academic year. After your registration, the contribution and admission will be processed further, while we always ensure the stability of the portfolio.

The contribution is always equal to the current value of the portfolio per member. The initial contribution was €200 at the start.

You can only cancel your membership at the end of the academic year. On leaving, you will receive your share of the portfolio back, calculated on the basis of the value of the fund. This payout is made at the beginning of the following semester to maintain the stability of the portfolio.
